In Mint Condition
Young Art Fair 2015
This year CMA hosted our second annual "Young Art Fair". The event is to sell local and student art to benefit both CMA and the Children's Hosptila "Free Care Fund". We also promoted local businesses by raffling off donations from the business around Pittsburgh. We used cool peppermint colors for our flyers, signs, and decorations, and mint baked goods to represent our mint portion of our theme and auctioned off the children's art to support the kid's wellness. Thanks to all of our supporters, we were able to raise a little over $1,500. This year we are able to give the Free Care Fund $600, which supports the kids and their families no matter what insurence or financial status they have.
In Mint Condition
This year we are focusing on health and wellness in combination of the AMA mint theme. "In Mint Condition" is a play on words. The words "mint condition" is used to explain that something is new or in good condition, meaning that you are creating a new you by becoming more healthy. The word "condition" is defined as a process of becoming healthier and stronger by following a regular diet and exercise regimine. We will continue on promoting this theme throught the year through our events.
Spa Night
In spring of 2016, we will be hosting a spa night to promote a healthy you. Businesses will come to show their skin care products and demonstrate how to make them. All products at this spa night will be organic and environmentally safe; no product will have any toxins or chemicals, which found in most skin care and make up products. We are promoting to keep your body in a natural state rather than filling it with chemicals that will decrease your health. Not only is important to keep your body healthy, but also your mind. We are planning on giving massages provided by Massage Envy to help clear students minds from all the work they have done during the year. This event will be hosted on Febuary 11th before Valentines Day and the theme will be "Love Yourself"
